Indian IT is ready for the boom

Indian IT and ITES are prepared to have a great boom next year after overcoming the global financial crisis. Current statistics and predictions state that there will a boom up to 15%. This analysis has given great ray of hope to the final year students in various institutions. The IT industry was not able to secure the predicted turnover last year. Nasscom states that this will never repeat in the coming few years. IT is treated with great importance in the public sector also.

In this financial year, about 90,000 jobs are created in IT field. The total Jobs in IT sector have risen to 23 lakh. A growth of 5.5% is observed in exports and of 12% in domestic market. Analysis predicts the requirement of about 150,000 professionals more for next year. Experts say that Indian IT had learned valuable lessons from the financial crisis. The implementation of more IT in the health sector resulted in great gains.

ITES is major factor behind the boom in IT. They had secured a growth of 21% even in last year. The attitude of American president in outsourcing is the greatest challenge observed in the industry. Experts advices that this issue can be overcome by giving more concentration to countries other than U.S. Indian IT ministry expects that there won’t be much issues if companies take right decisions according to the situation and trends. Indian IT firms are not targeting U.S much. More concentration is given to Europe and other countries. Let us all welcome the good years of IT.
