Vallarpadam Container Terminal launching News
The latest news about the Vallarpadam Container Terminal Cochin is that it will be launched on 31st March 2010. It is the first Indian International Container Transshipment Terminal (ICTT). The first Indian ship terminal will advance the import and export business of India from 2010. The launch of Cochin Container Terminal will improve productivity and better manage costs.
The insurance companies at Vallarpadam will have a great time of improvement of policies too. The Vallarpadam Cochin terminal will also be a gift to the real estate business in and around Vallarpadam, Kochi, Kerala. The Cochin ship terminal will also give a better future to hardware, software, furniture, hiring and training businesses. The ICTT (International Container Transshipment Terminal), Vallarpadam scheme is to launch a series of ventures including the Ship-building Hub worth Rs. 2,100 crores, Rs 1,600-crore LNG Terminal worth Rs 1,600-crores, the Port-based Special Economic Zone worth Rs 1,510-crore, the International Ship Repair complex worth Rs. 315 crores, SBM (single buoy moorings) for Kochi Refineries Ltd worth Rs. 720 crores, International Bunkering Terminal, Bulk Cargo Terminals, Cruise Ship Terminals, International Marina, Petro Chemical Complex, Kochi for Gas Authority of India worth Rs. 7,000-crores and many more. All these developments will provide a good number of job vacancies for the young job seekers of Kerala and even India.
